Ben Zaidi is a mixed-race writer & artist who grew up on an island near Seattle, WA. When he was 17 his homespun songs caught the attention of local record labels and ultimately Harvard University, where he enrolled to study poetry and play punk-rap shows in various Cambridge basements. He left Harvard and built a homegrown indie following through touring and prolific releases, amassing over 20 million plays. Along the way he finagled a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing via a fellowship from NYU. Lately, he has reached millions on TikTok sharing his thoughts on art-making to a hungry audience of fans and aspiring artists.
